Last Night the Airmen Family Readiness Center (AFRC) sponsored one of the monthy deployed family events. This month we had dinner served to us, face painting, and balloon art for the kids. The dinner was very good. We had chicken fried chicken with gravy, mashed potatos and gravy, green bean, and fresh hot rolls. The kids had chicken nuggets, maccaroni and cheese, and apple sauce, and rolls. Dessert was pie.
They also had other games for the kids. While the kids missed dance classes last night they really enjoyed being around other military kid with deployed parents and enjoyed the event. All the kids got balloons and their faces painted. The next event is on a Saturday next month at the Zoo they are so excited about that!
