Settling in

We are home and getting settled into a routine once again with daddy. The kids are LOVING having daddy be a part of their lives once again. The best part to them is the fact that he is on leave and home to be a part of their lives right now. We have gone swimming, worked on the house, worked on the yard, visited with friends, and simply enjoyed his company.

Now that the house is on the market and we have had showings we had found opportunities to simply go to the park and play games. I think one of their favorites was having a Harry Potter marathon then watching the final movie at the theater.

Watching 7 movies in a row with all the popcorn they could eat was a blast for them. We even found a recipe for ButterBeer for them to enjoy. While we were watching the movie the car was in the shop getting the oil changed. The kids loved the walk from the shop to the theater bouncing from being silly and walking like the characters on Rango and just bouncing all over to place from excitement from seeing a movie at the theater.

The weirdest part for all of us is the last of needing an alarm clock right now. We are able to get up when we get up and follow our internal clocks right now. Additionally, not having to have daddy leave for work is weird but very nice. The kids are loving this but they are going to miss this special time when daddy has to leave for his class here in a few weeks.
