Martin Handcart Company, Bitter Creek Wyoming

While heading east we stumbled upon the Martin Handcart Company in Wyoming where many youth go for trek each summer. Discovering this is where their cousin was currently on his trek the kids were very excited so we made a sudden stop and change in our plans.

Letting the kids see and learn about what many of the pioneers went through was an experience for them. The younger kids got to play around with little handcarts and pulled them around the set track. Celidah and Jade excitedly shared their trek experiences with the workers.
