Met my new doctor today...

Had a good dr's apt today. I really like this dr. Not only did she listen, but she ACTUALLY read through my files today to see what was going on before the apt. She came in with a game plan in place. Even though the apt was short I left with the 2 meds I needed refilled, 6 referals to the University of Maryland instead of John Hopkins.

She prefers I be seen there because everyone wants to be see...n at John Hopkins so they have a much higher patient count. Apt wait times are higher there. With the level of medical care in this area being what it is all major facilities are competing against each other are all top rated.

I will be seeing GI specialists for a complete GI work up, GYN specialists to have the ovaries removed and biopsied ASAP. (forget who will biopsy the liver)... ONC for a full cancer screen and work up, Diabetes specialits due to my hypoglycemia so I can learn how to better control my BGL (blood glucose levels) through diet and what to do when my BGL's drop or fluctuate to much for my body. Pain Management Clinic for the degenerative joint and bone disease and arthritis issues.

In addition, to all that I have to have another mammo then an ultra sound of the lump that was found. This is due to not being given a disc with the mammo results so this has to be redone. Not only is this benificial according to the dr, but they will be able to monitor the recorded size and make sure rapid changes are not happening due to past and family history.

I will also be following up with her every month to ensure the specialty dr's are doing what needs to be done, and if not that will allow her to keep in contact with the teams and on top of all treatments.

Between the dr's apointment, the senator office call, and the household goods delivery, I am happy with today.
