Today was the day to get all our stuff back from storage. The movers were very quick unloading the trucks, getting everything in the house. The organ has a plastic plate that is broken, so we need to find out how much that will cost to replace. Our most expensive item broken is our portable fire place which also serves as our mantle for our stocking and Nativity set at Christmas time.
The other thing we found broken was a tea cup from the china set from Nana. This is replacable however expensive.
We just had the movers pile the boxes in general areas and the furnature in the basic rooms as well as we needed them to be done and out ASAP this time. Normally they unload, break for lunch then help unpack. However I had a dr's apointment at 1pm today. So instead of waiting for the extra help we just let them go.
The interesting part was 2 of the three trucks left when the movers left as apparently the fuel pump went out on one truck. While this did not bother us it was a major annoyance to the neighbors as it was blocking the driveways. The moving company had called the truck tow truck and had to leave the truck sitting until it could get towed away. Finally sometime this afternoon the truck was gone.
