Over the next few days the kids will all be posting various and random thought and memories from our time here in Colorado. This is part of their school exercises as well as the family journaling experience.
My goal with this is to bring all the children more into the blog and truly make this a family experience. In addition, teach the children that blogging can be fun. This is also meant to help draw out the creative side in each child and help them find their writers voices.
Through this experience I know the kids will look back and see just how much their writing skills will improve. As they gain confidence more flair and vocal expression will begin to emerge.
This experience will not mean much to the children now, however I know when they become parents and grandparents and have this printed the ability to look back on their childhood adventures, perspectives, and experiences will be greatly appreciated. This will be appreciated not only by them, but by their children, their grandchildren, and future grandchildren to come.
